National Service Scheme (N.S.S.)

Under National Service Scheme a contingent of 100 volunteers both boys and girls have been sanctioned through the I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar-Kapurthala Highway, Jalandhar Punjab 144603, to provide opportunity to the students to join valuable practical experience in community service through such programmes as eradication of illiteracy, rural reconstruction, national integration, health etc. It is hoped that this will develop a sense of participation in nation building among the students by providing creative outlets for their energies.
