G.H.G. Khalsa College of Pharmacy, Gurusar Sadhar organized a National seminar on "Awareness about safe drug disposal, pharmacovigilance and drug safety, career opportunities in pharma academia and industry on 10thy May, 2022. The chief guests of the day were Mr. Sacheen Gandhi, Founder, Healthcopoeia Foundation, New Delhi and Ms. Pooja Arora, Director, Global Research Institute of Pharmacy, Radaur, Haryana. The event was convened by Dr. Satvinder Kaur, Principal, G.H.G. Khalsa College of Pharmacy, Gurusar Sadhar. Other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Dr. Harpreet Singh, Principal, G.H.G. Khalsa College, Dr. Pargat Singh Garcha, Principal, G.H.G. Khalsa College of Education, Gurusar Sadhar. The program began with the inaugural ceremony and lamp enlightening. Mr. Gandhi presented his views and gave various insights on the safe disposal of medicines, which is the need of the hour. He discussed about various ways of drug disposal and reutilization of unused drugs for the welfare of society. A MoU was signed between the Healthcopoeia Foundation, New Delhi and G.H.G. Khalsa College of Pharmacy, Gurusar Sadhar for the common goals. The program was concluded by felicitation of the guests and vote of thanks by Dr. Satvinder Kaur.
